Meet Johanna
Johanna Beyer is the founder and principal of On Your Path Consulting. Since 2002 she has been working one on one with people who feel that they are at a crossroads in life. She specializes in supporting individuals who feel unfulfilled with their current careers and are ready to create their next stage of work that is challenging and purposeful. Her main philosophy with coaching rests in the belief that everyone has the answers and clarity inside. However, when people are trying to make big change on their own, fear can often block that inner wisdom.
She considers herself a guide with expertise in helping people to connect with their inner clarity and will go to battle with her clients to fight off the inner critic and create accountability to make their vision into a reality.
Prior to starting On Your Path Consulting, Johanna received her Bachelor's Degree from UCLA and her Masters Degree in Organizational Development from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. In 1997 she began her career as a management consultant for The Grove Consultants International where she learned the fine art of strategic facilitation and led hi- level executive teams in creative strategic planning for long-term success. In 2000, Johanna joined The Idea Factory where she focused her attention towards helping organizations become more innovative. She worked closely with Nokia, IBM and the The Ministry of Education in Singapore. In 2002, Johanna added one-on-one leadership coaching to her consulting work. As a Principal of On Your Path Consulting, she has been privileged to work with people and teams across the country to help them move past their obstacles and fears so that they can uncover their creativity and gifts. By using different facilitation tools and processes, Johanna is able to guide people to the clarity they need in order to live more purposeful and abundant lives.
People who have worked with Johanna call her coaching style authentic, challenging in a safe manner, and intuitive. She is supportive without feeling fake and has the ability to challenge someone in their thinking without putting them on the offensive. She has a keen ability to extract where growth potential is for a person and in her kindness can help people move through their fears and get “unstuck”.
She currently resides in Mill Valley, Ca. with her husband and two sons and a large fluffy cat.
